Total weight 33.86 ct, consisting of 63 pieces of facet grade Ceylon natural blue sapphire rough, ranging between 0.30 to 0.86 ct each. Clean to eye clean clarity, standard heated stones. These were originally purchased as geuda from Rakwana and Pelmadulla villages around mining in Sri Lanka, gemologically suitable for heating, and now displaying strong, blue colors. All are facet grade, ideal for cutting fine sapphires.
These sapphires were originally part of our geuda stock at Danushka Gems. Since they were not sold in rough form, we carefully worked them through standard heating, transforming them into the strong, vivid blues you see today.”
