Ancient Mukkaru beads

A rare and culturally rich collection of 23 ancient Mukkaru beads, weighing a total of 55.30 carats, with individual pieces ranging from 6.8 to 0.90 ct. These beads, averaging around 2.40 ct each, were discovered in Galpaya—a historic Mukkaru-settled village in Sri Lanka. Dating back 700 to 1000 years, these relics tell the story of early gemstone traders and miners who migrated to Sri Lanka.
