Danushka Gems and Minings is a Sri Lanka-based gemstone business built around direct source relationships, long-term trusted suppliers, and practical gemstone experience. We mainly work with facet grade rough gemstones, crystals, and specimens, while also offering selected cut stones and gemstone-related services depending on the material available and the customer’s request.

Our business is based on direct contact with source areas rather than relying mainly on public gem markets. Because of this, many customers share specific details with us such as size targets, treatment preferences, shape preferences, cutting ideas, budget expectations, certification needs, and shipping requirements. Danushka Gems and Minings is based in Sri Lanka and works closely with village-level mining communities, trusted direct suppliers, and long-term individual relationships. We travel and source from different gemstone-producing regions in Sri Lanka depending on season, availability, and long-term source connections.

Our Sri Lankan sourcing regions may include Ratnapura, Rakwana, Nivithigala, Kalawana, Pelmadulla, Endana, Rambuka, Kuruwita, Wellawaya, Elahera, Kolonna, Kataragama, and other source-connected mining villages and gemstone-producing areas across the island.

For gemstones from outside Sri Lanka, we also work through direct source relationships and trusted long-term suppliers in other producing countries such as Tanzania, Madagascar, and other origin-based gemstone regions depending on the gem variety available. Our goal is to maintain a direct and trusted sourcing model wherever possible.

Danushka Gems and Minings mainly focuses on natural facet grade rough gemstones, crystals, and specimens. We are not limited to one gem variety. Depending on what is directly available from mining sources or trusted suppliers, we may work with sapphires, spinels, garnets, chrysoberyl, zircon, quartz crystals, specimens, and other natural gem materials.

Some customers purchase stones in rough form. Some customers select rough and request cutting from our side. Some customers prefer crystals and specimens in their natural form. Others request selected finished stones. Because each gemstone is unique, much of our work involves direct discussion, custom selection, and process-based decision-making.

Our business mainly works with natural facet grade rough, crystals, and specimens. Customers may purchase natural crystals or specimens, or request that selected facet grade rough stones be cut from our side based on the stone’s natural structure and the customer’s goals.

Depending on the stone, destination country, and applicable handling conditions, Crystal stones may be sold in crystal form. facet grade rough Stones may also be cut and then shipped internationally after preparation. Finished stones can generally be arranged for shipment worldwide depending on available courier routes and applicable requirements at the time.

To complete shipment, we may use customer information for courier booking, dispatch labels, invoices, customs-related details where required, and delivery tracking.

We may accept payment through approved methods such as website payment gateways, payment links, bank-related arrangements, or other available payment channels. When third-party gateways are used, your payment details may be processed by those providers according to their own systems and policies.
